On 14th and 15th November, 2025, the MCE cut sod for the construction of a CHIPS Compound at Simiw, two-unit classroom block at Nkrontrodo, six-unit classroom block at Anweem Kissi and three-unit classroom block at Dutch Komenda.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ismail Zagoon-Seead, addressed the gathering by acknowledging the dignitaries present; the Presiding Member, the Education Director, the Health Director, the Hon. Assembly Members and other dignitaries present.
He expressed his gratitude for their support and shared how delighted he was with the entire management and staff of the assembly to be part of the event. Addressing a brief gathering, he emphasized that, these projects represent more than the construction of the buildings. it stands as a symbol of hope and a testament to their collective commitment to strengthening education and health in our various communities in the municipality.
Hon Ismail Zagoon-Saeed stated that without a strong educational foundation and stable health, developing and progressing as a municipality becomes difficult and for that reason, the municipal assembly is ready to provide the means to help the communities to develop as part the resetting agenda.
