The 68th Independence day celebration parade was held at Hannah Amissah Park on the Thursday 6th March, 2025. The Member of Parliament for the constituency Hon. Samuel Atta Mills speaking at the ceremony extended best wishes and greetings from His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama.
In his speech he urged all who gathered at the ceremony to liberate their minds and empower individuals to contribute meaningfully not just for the municipality but the nation and the continent as a whole.
He indicated the constituency has every reason to celebrate the values that have guided us for the past 68 years, as encapsulated in the the REFLECT, REVIEW AND RESET.
He urged the municipality to unite and be determined to move the municipality forward. Hon Atta Mills also urged the constituency to come together to achieve greater things in KEEA municipality.
