The Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Municipal Assembly has today March 3, 2026 donated cleaning equipment to the Liverpool Electoral Area through their Assembly member of the area Hon. Papa Arhin. The items donated include cutlasses, wheelbarrows, waste bins, and other essential tools intended to support community sanitation initiatives.
During the presentation, the MCE Hon Ismail Zagoon – Saaed who led in presenting the items emphasized that this initiative is part of an ongoing effort to improve the sanitation situation within the municipality. He noted that several other electoral areas have previously benefited from similar support, and additional areas will receive assistance in due course. He reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to providing communities with the necessary resources to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
The head of the Environmental Health Unit (MEHO), Mr. Simon Yao Agordo, assured residents that the municipality remains committed to ensuring cleanliness across all communities. He added that improper waste disposal will not be tolerated, and appropriate measures will be implemented to address such practices. The Assembly continues its efforts to make the municipality of Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
