On June 19, 2025, a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture (MOFA) Head Office visited the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Municipal Assembly (KEEA MA).
The team, led by Assistant Director of Agriculture Mr. Derrick Boateng Badu, included Senior Agriculture Officer Mr. Roland Ato Doughan and Public Relations Officer Mr. Osei-Opoku Gyamfi. They met with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Worlanyo Alatevi, All department/unit heads and farmers in the Municipality.
Mr. Badu presented the government’s plans for the Feed Ghana Project, highlighting its main program, “Feed on Commodities”, which focuses on cereals, legumes, vegetables, starchy crops, livestock, and tree crops. He also announced the government willingness to invest in farmers’ associations and groups.
The Municipal Coordinating Director Mr Worlanyo Alatevi assured the team of the assembly’s readiness for upcoming project being introduced by government through the ministry of agriculture. He also showed his appreciation to the team for visiting KEEA MA to pilot the programme being introduced by the government.
