The 2021 district farmer’s day was celebrated at Benyadze in the KEEA Municipality. This years ceremony had the theme “Planting for food and jobs- consolidating food systems in Ghana, present at the district event was the MCE, Hon Solomon Appiah. The event also had in attendance the Municipal Coordinating Director, The Chiefs, The Municipal Agric Director, MUSEC of KEEA, Hon Assembly Members, Heads Department and Units of The Municipal Assembly, Among others.
The MCE in his speech said AYEKOO to all farmers and fishermen in the municipality for the good work and hard work done throughout the year and charged the youth to take advantage of the planting for food and jobs introduced by the government to boost agriculture in the KEEA municipality and country.
