The occasion was graced by Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs Hon. Kodwo Kum, Central Regional Minister Hon. Mrs. Marigold Assan, Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Solomon Appiah, President of Central Regional House of Chiefs Odeefo Amoako Buadu VII, Ag. President of Komenda Traditional Council Nana Kwahin V, Regional Coordinating Director Mr. Kingsley Agyei Boahene Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Emmanuel Ikpe Quacoe and many others.

The MCE, Hon Solomon Appiah in his speech expressed how sad he feels for the demise of the Omanhene of the Komenda Traditional Council since he the MCE is a son of komenda. He encouraged the people of Komenda whether old or young to be united even in times like this since the late omanhene is a man of peace.

The Central Regional Minster Hon. Mrs. Marigold Assan pledged the government’s support for people of Komenda in this trying time and also asked them to see this as way of coming together as one big family irrespective of their difference.

The Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs who stood in for the President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo extended the condolence of the President to the people of Komenda and also asked the chiefs and families in the Komenda traditional council to be one to see to the performing of the last stage of the funeral rites for the late omanhene. The Minister made a donation on behalf of the president and the municipal assembly to support the final funeral rites.

The Ag. President of the komenda traditional council thanked the government, central regional house of chiefs and the dignitaries present for their support since the demise of the omanhene and promised to ensure unity and togetherness of the people of komenda.
