On February 11, 2026, Professor Lord Mensah, Head of the Local Government Service, paid a courtesy visit to the KEEA Municipal Assembly, accompanied by Mrs. Felicia Dapaah Agyemang-Boakye (Chief Director), a representative from the Central Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), and other officers.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ismail Saeed-Zagoon, who received the team, stated that the Assembly faces numerous challenges but highlighted a few major ones.
Professor Mensah outlined his vision, focusing on:

2. Professionalizing the service: Building a disciplined and capable team focused on service delivery.
3. Discipline and accountability: Applying disciplinary standards?and review procedures.
4. Communication structures: Adhering to administrative channels.
He cautioned against illegal?changes to official documentation and advised officers to lead with management, invoke hierarchies, and take official routes.
