The Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Municipal Assembly under the leadership of MCE Hon. Solomon Appiah as part of their social responsibilities to the communities in the municipality is giving the people of kyiase a 3 unit fully furnished class room block with an office and 6 seater washroom.
Speaking at a short ceremony the MCE Hon. Solomon Appiah said that after his last visit to the school he realized the school needed support from the municipal assembly since the basic school block was in a deplorable state. He expressed how happy he was for such a quick response from the municipal assembly to help the school. Hon Solomon Appiah emphasized on the need for every community and municipality to take education serious since it sees to the development of every community.
The municipal education directorate which was represented by the P.R.O Mr Sabastian Akakyire appreciated the municipal assembly on behalf of the municipal education directorate for coming to their aid in this difficult time.
He assured the municipal assembly that maintenance of the block will be a priority to the directorate and asked for more support from the assembly to see to the development of education in the municipality
The chief of kyiase expressed how happy to see this move from the assembly since it became a burden to him and the people of kyiase when the school needed support to fix the deplorable block. He thanked the management keea assembly for considering kyiase to bring this project to them and promised to take good care of it.
The project is expected to be completed within 8months. Its a # Unit Classroom block which comes with 105 mono desk, white marker board, fully furnished office and 6 seater washroom.
