The Municipal Chief Executive for Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Municipal Assembly, Hon. Ismael Zagoon-Saeed, has paid a working visit to Maglindoh Sunnyside Farms in Dompoase to assess the progress of the \u2018Nkoko Nkitinkiti\u2019 Initiative. The farm is expected to raise the Sasso broilers for 4 weeks before they are distributed to beneficiary households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project, which is a Ghanaian government initiative under the Feed Ghana Program (FGP), is designed to boost local poultry production, reduce imports, and create jobs by distributing 3 million birds to households across the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the visit, the MCE inspected the poultry units, commending the management and the workers for their hard work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He assured them of the Assembly\u2019s continuous support to expand the initiative and strengthen agribusiness within the municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Amaquandoh, the manager for the poultry unit of the farm, expressed gratitude for the support. He disclosed that 10,000 day-old chicks, 18 bags of pre-starter feed, 444 bags of broiler feed, 4 packs of glucose, 5 kg of Colvit, and 4 kg of Amprocox had been delivered.
