The initiative formed part of the Assembly\u2019s efforts to promote economic empowerment, social inclusion, and improved livelihoods for vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the exercise, essential livelihood items including refrigerators, sewing machines, and fufu pounding machines were presented to selected beneficiaries. The  items are expected to assist recipients in engaging in income-generating activities and achieving greater self-reliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The occasion was graced by the Municipal Chief Executive who emphasized the Assembly\u2019s commitment to the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities (PWDs).
