The Municipality is sub-divided into five (5) sub-districts, namely: Elmina, Komenda, Abrem Agona, Kissi and Ankaful sub-districts.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">In terms of service delivery, we have a total 41 facilities, out of which CHPS facilities constitute 31, Health Centres 3 and clinics 3, Maternity Home 1, Polyclinic and Hospital 2.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><u>FUNCTIONS OF THE MHD<\/u><\/strong><\/p><p>Generally, the Municipal Health Directorate implement and monitors health sector policies, ensure effective coordination of activities, judicious management of health resources (human, logistics, equipment and infrastructure) and provides guidance and technical supports to the lower levels.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KEEA MUNICIPAL HEALTH DIRECTORATE GHS MANDATE \u00a0To provide and prudently manage comprehensive and accessible quality health service with special emphasis on Primary Health Care at district and sub-district levels in accordance with approved national policies.
