In accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 constitution of the Republic of Ghana and the Local Governance Act 936, 2016, His Excellency the President of the Republic has nominated Nana Appiah Korang for confirmation as the Municipal Chief Executive for the Assembly.
In light of the above, the General Assembly will hold a special meeting as follows;
